There’s confusion everywhere. Best-selling atheists insist that God is just a delusion. Multi-faith Britain offers a bewildering array of conflicting religious options. Political correctness suppresses honest discussion: our leaders insist, ‘We don’t do God.’ But most of us want to know the truth about God and what life is all about!

A Passion for Life is a nationwide series of events, during February and March 2010, aimed at proclaiming Christ's passion for the life of the world. Each of the churches involved in these ‘Passion for Life’ events is concerned to encourage community life - but they also want to help you to think about the Passion of Jesus, the first Easter time, and how that makes it possible for us to know real life.

We want to welcome you warmly to all the activities listed inside this leaflet. There are fun days, musical events, youth events; activities with food and games. Some of the events will include a short talk outlining something of what it means to find life as it is meant to be.

In particular, the ‘Questions of Life’ evening on 31st March will deal with the problem of suffering. With disasters on the scale of the earthquake in Haiti and the tsunami currently in our minds, many people are asking, ‘If there is a God, why is there so much suffering?’. Paul Clarke will be tackling this issue and there will be an opportunity for you to put your questions to him.

We’d love to see you at any of these events.
